THE JOURNAL

Start with the trip, not the aircraft
The right jet depends on how far you are going, how many people are travelling and how much luggage comes with them. A light jet is ideal for two to four passengers on a two-hour hop; a coast-to-coast flight with a family calls for more range and cabin space.
Range, runway and cabin
Check that the aircraft can fly the route nonstop with a comfortable reserve, and that it can use the airport closest to where you are actually going. Then think about the cabin: stand-up headroom, a private lavatory and a quiet space to work matter more on longer flights.
Let the team narrow it down
Share your dates, passengers and priorities, and we will suggest two or three suitable aircraft with clear pricing. The best choice is the one that fits the trip, not simply the largest jet available.
